What exactly is LSD?
What is lsd? LSD is a hallucinogenic or a psychedelic drug which when consumed, affects the brain and alters thoughts, feelings, and awareness of one’s surroundings. LSD is one of the most potent, mood-changing chemicals. It stands for Lysergic acid diethylamide, also known colloquially as acid.
Where does Lysergic acid diethylamide come from?
It is manufactured from lysergic acid, which is found in the ergot fungus that grows on rye and other grains. This hallucinogen usually sold as small squares of paper (Buy LSD Blotters), a liquid (LSD liquid), or pellets (micro-dots), or in crystal form ( LSD crystals — it’s original form)
Effects of LSD Consumption
Unlike DMT, Liquid Lysergic acid diethylamide (often called liquid acid) has no taste at all. LSD tabs taste like the paper. But it is a powerful Psychedelic drug regardless. Effects typically begin within half an hour and can last for up to 20 hours.
Furthermore, this means you’re likely to experience a distorted view of objects and reality when you take it. The experience of taking LSD is called tripping.
Trips of this drug can last several hours and can be very intense. Trips are often described as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ depending on whether the experience was enjoyable or distressing.
When you take this drug, there’s no way of knowing exactly how you might feel or what kind of trip you’re going to go on. And once you start tripping it’s difficult to control the effects.
However, Many users have visual or auditory hallucinations. Dilated pupils, increased blood pressure, and increased body temperature are typical.
Lysergic acid diethylamide can also be taken in very small amounts, and this is sometimes called micro-dosing.
How does LSD make you feel?
For most people, the world appears distorted when they take this drug. Colours, sounds, objects and even time can all seem very strange and disturbing.
Taking LSD can make you feel:
- euphoric
- giggly
- in awe of the people and things around you
- energised
- excited
- empathetic
What about the Duration of LSD Drug?
How long the above effects last and how long the drug lasts in your system depends on how much you’ve taken, your size, whether you’ve eaten and what other drugs you may have also taken.
To kick in
Acid can take from 20 minutes to two hours to take effect, but it really depends on how much of it you take takes.
If you feel that you’re having, or are going to have, a bad trip, let your friends know and get their help. Go to a nice, quiet spot where you feel safe and can relax.
How long will it be detectable?
Lysergic acid will typically show up in a urine sample for 1 to 3 days.
How long a drug can be detected for depends on how much is taken and which testing kit is used. This is only a general guide.
